You'll need about 1400m/s delta-v to make orbit again, but even the most budget of Mun-rated landers usually have that much capacity (as they have to do 640+ to land and another 640+ to make orbit). Leave the interplanetary stuff in orbit, and all you need to do is a bit of deorbiting burn and let Duna's atmosphere do the rest. But since you're interplanetary, it's usually a good idea to do a Duna trip "Apollo Style" - take an interplanetary spacecraft and stick a small lander on top of it. Since it has atmosphere, you can take a basic Mun-capable lander and make it work there just fine, if you place some chutes on it. It's pretty much the first interplanetary destination I seek out. Gravity acceleration on Eve is 16.68m/s 2, compared to 9.806m/s 2 for Kerbin.ĭuna is actually very easy to get to. Holy junk-bits, you're correct - Eve has a mass of 1.22515E+23, compared to Kerbin's 5.29475E+22.
